Getting ready for the rock festival. What to take with you to Dobrofest, Invasion and other festivals! Getting ready for Dobrofest: yes - money, no - alcohol. What you can and cannot take with you  What to take to a rock festival

Friends, this is a rough list of what you should take with you to the festival. We welcome questions and additions.

Remember that the more things you collect, the more they will overshadow your stay at the festival in one way or another - from the need to drag them on foot to your parking lot and ending with concerns about their safety (there may be a left-luggage office in which you can leave the most valuable things).

What to take with you:

1. Tent, awning. There is a high probability that the tents will stand in the fields. If you don't like waking up in the morning from the wild stuffiness in a tent, stock up on an awning and aluminum prefabricated posts to stretch it over the tent. It was with ready-made racks, not expecting to cut down poles in the forest. By the beginning of the festival they may not be left. Remember - if desired, more people can fit into the tent than it is written on it. Tested by experience :)

2. Sleeping bag and foam

3. Seat (napopnik - whatever) - optional. But it's very convenient.

4. Dishes - KLMN (mug-spoon-bowl-knife), bowler hat. By the way, when you bring your own dishes to the festival taverns, you will get a small discount!

5. Gas burner. If you are going to travel by car, it is worth taking coal and firewood with you.

6. Clothes (2-3 sets for different weather, including warm ones, the required number of changes of underwear), a hat for sun protection, a raincoat are required.

7. Shoes (comfortable tourist, 2 pairs. Optional - rubber boots, sneakers, sandals), several pairs of socks.

8. Towel - especially important for hitchhikers :-P

9. Knives, scissors (in a case).

10. Repair kit (needle, thread).

11. First aid kit - discussion here: http://holmi.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1628.

12. Sunscreen.

13. Repellents - there are a lot of mosquitoes, ticks were noticed!

14. Documents (passport, birth certificate for children, mandatory health insurance policy or a copy thereof).

14. Flashlight.

15. Hygiene products (toothpaste-brush-comb-deodorant, toilet paper, wet wipes, condoms, pads). If possible, use paper wipes ("wet toilet paper") instead of synthetic ones, as the latter are a significant source of litter. By the way, the first-aid post will have a pharmacy stall (working hours - presumably from 11:00 to 22:00), where you can buy women's hygiene bags, after-sun lotion, condoms, toothpaste and brushes, soap, as well as adhesive plasters, dressings and disinfectants.

16. Household cotton gloves.

17. Garbage bags (you can also get in M. Orga, but it's better to take it to your camp - but do not forget about separate garbage collection).

18. Notebook and pen - write down addresses and phone numbers of new friends, information about bus schedules, leave notes on the bulletin board :)

19. Items and materials to decorate your camp.

20. A small FM receiver - it can come in handy :) Announcements of upcoming performances, festival news and announcements from the organizers will be broadcast on the radio.

21. Money - their amount depends on whether you are taking food with you or planning to buy it, whether you are going to buy CDs - goods from the fair, share with askers, etc. Determine the minimum and maximum threshold yourself :)

What you do not need to take with you:

1. Highly flammable and explosive objects.
(undiluted ethyl alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, pyrotechnics - if you are not engaged in a fire show).

2. Cutting and piercing objects without a cover.

3. Strong drugs, drugs.

4. Strong alcohol of unknown origin or in excess of a reasonable amount.

5. Any drinks in glass containers. If you still bring glass with you, be sure to take it back to the city! This will not only reduce the amount of garbage at the festival, but also help prevent injury to volunteers when cleaning up broken glass.

5. Weapons of any kind.

We waited! In a few days, Yaroslavl will host the Dobrofest music and entertainment festival for the ninth time, which this year had to be postponed to the end of July due to the World Cup. The portal site decided to remind you what you need to take with you to Dobrofest and what to be prepared for.

Short, expensive, awesome

First, you have to be ready to fork out. Hanging out at the festival for three days is no cheaper than a vacation at sea. A subscription for all three days with an unlimited number of visits to the festival territory will now cost 4,700 rubles per person. If you are going to come by car, you will have to pay another 1,500 rubles for parking. Do you want a warm shower? You are welcome! But again, it's paid. A subscription to use a warm shower and a VIP toilet costs 500 rubles, you can buy it at the entrance to the festival. Food on the territory of the festival is also, of course, for money. In one of the tents at the food court, they will cook on coals: 100 rubles for buckwheat porridge, 200 for a hot dog and 290 for a burger.

You can't take alcohol with you. Absolutely impossible

You can bring food with you, but not all. It will not be possible to carry food in glass or metal containers, perishable food. Bringing alcohol into the festival area and parking is prohibited, you can bring water in a plastic bottle from drinks, but be prepared for the fact that at the entrance you may be asked to open the bottle and let you smell the contents.

Prepare for the vagaries of the weather. These days, weather forecasters promise heat - from 25 to 29 degrees during the day, but at night no higher than +18 and rain with a thunderstorm on Saturday. Therefore, take warm clothes with you for the night and change clothes in case of rain, unless, of course, you are going to shock everyone with your appearance of a dirt man, as some festival guests already did a couple of years ago.

What else is prohibited

It is forbidden to bring drugs and medicines into the festival territory, with the exception of life-supporting ones, the need for which must be confirmed by medical documents, be prepared for them to be checked at the medical aid point. It is also forbidden to carry pyrotechnics, explosives and weapons.

What to bring to the festival

The organizers advise you to take what you would take with you on a hike.

  1. Tickets and money.
  2. Passport or driver's license.
  3. Medical insurance policy or a copy of it.
  4. Cell phone, better inexpensive.
  5. Warm clothes and change of clothes.
  6. Tent and sleeping bag.

A bonus for festival guests is the opportunity to watch a lunar eclipse while listening to the songs of their favorite bands far from the city lights. The total eclipse of the moon, which occurs once every hundred years, will begin at 10 pm on July 24 and last until 1 am. At this time, "Cockroaches!", "25/17", The Hives, "District 5`0" and El Mashe will perform at Dobrofest. What else

We waited! A couple more weeks, and the long-awaited summer will come - warm, reaching heat at noon, long bright evenings, short starry nights, unhurried walks until the morning and careless raids on bars from Friday to Saturday. Summer makes us a little younger, allowing us to spend time on the most pleasant vacation of the year. It is during this season that all kinds of resorts wake up after winter, shake off the dust from the tables of summer verandas and, of course, music festivals that are magical in their atmosphere open.

Music festivals are different, but it's really hard to forget those where you immerse yourself in music for several days - you live in a tent, and around you there is only great sound and hundreds of the same crazy drive lovers. And yet, a trip to a music festival with a tent is not for you to call in a five-star hotel. So that stupid everyday problems do not spoil the musical-natural romance, we have compiled for you 8 life hacks on how to be a real king at an open-air festival, using the largest EDM festival in Russia as an example.

(Total 11 photos)

1. Appropriate look

Attention, ladies! Remember, you are beautiful even in comfortable jeans and wrinkled sneakers that have trampled more than one dance floor. Still, a music fest is more of a trip than a party, so all the designer things that are scary to breathe on and jewelry are best left at home. Despite the fact that the most comfortable infrastructure awaits you at AFP, do not complicate your life. The organizers will do everything possible for you, but if you still come in high heels and a dress with sequins, blame yourself.

2. Take protection with you

Protection from the sun and insects. For three days you will enjoy beautiful EDM music, and without special means, mosquitoes will enjoy you. Moreover, between night raves you will find several days in the open air, under the rays of the scorching Novgorod sun. And without sunscreen, your skin won't thank you for sure.

3. Be ready for any weather conditions

Still, nature is an unpredictable lady. Therefore, in your hiking bag, find a place for an umbrella or raincoats. Do you have rubber boots? In their backpack! As for , it has never rained during the festival - the weather has always sympathized with good electronic music. But it's worth it to be safe.

4. Plan ahead

There are festivals that are held somewhere in the near Moscow region, and there are those whose organizers know other chic places for a musical break. For example, it takes place in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and you should think in advance about a train ticket or a good friend who will take you by car. Anyone who plans to go to the “musical Oz” in their own car needs to think about parking. As a rule, parking spaces at such events are paid and they also require a separate ticket. But you will know for sure that nothing will happen to your car. On Alfa Future People, for example, but reliable.

Even if you can’t buy tickets, and you couldn’t find a good friend, don’t despair. You can always use the service - it will turn out many times cheaper than a train ticket. And perhaps even cheaper than a trip with a friend, who then will need to be affixed for half his life. In short, plan ahead!

5. Don't put off buying tickets until the last minute!

If only because on the last day they, as a rule, do not happen. And in the penultimate, and, unfortunately, even in a couple of weeks. Summer music festivals are large-scale expected events. They are announced “long before”, which means that ticket sales begin a few months before the festival itself. If you have firmly decided to break away at least one this year, but you haven’t bought tickets yet, you can start to worry. Most likely, it will be very difficult (or very expensive) to acquire them. For example, the Alfa Future People EDM festival announced that two categories of tickets were sold out two months before the start of the event itself. VIP and places in the Omega camping this year will not be able to buy. But while there is an opportunity to buy places in. Of course, if you do not think for a long time ...

6. Think about money

Yes, the organizers are mindful of the safety of your personal belongings and have made special lockers. But what about money? You will not run to the safes every time you want to eat or drink water, will you? But keeping cash "in the teeth" is not very convenient. Therefore, a delightfully convenient non-cash payment system operates throughout the AFP festival. At the entrance you get a personal party kit, which consists of an Alfa-Bank card, a bracelet with a built-in smart card, an envelope with a PIN code and detailed instructions on how to use all this miracle. Although, by and large, the instruction is not particularly needed. The bracelet is tied to the card, and you can use it for payment. If you still didn’t listen to us and filled your pockets with “gold”, there will be ATMs on the AFP site that you can use to replenish the card. Of course, when paying, you can use cards of any other banks, if they are dear to your heart.

Voila! Forget about paperwork - enjoy countless food courts by simply placing your wristband on the terminal.

7. Decide where you will live

If you are not a city dweller tempted by hiking, then we warn you - for a comfortable existence in nature and a good night's sleep, you will need at least three things: a tent, a sleeping bag, foam. At the festival, for those who have their own camping minimum, there is a special area - a guarded campsite with infrastructure where you can set up your own tent.

8. Sleep!

This may seem like an unnecessary reminder, but rarely does anyone take it seriously. You should not go to the festival after finishing the working day - it's better to take an extra day off and sleep enough. On the territory where you will find first-class EDM for several days, a sea of interesting people, huge areas of technology and sports, you will not be able to sleep at all. We guarantee.

The festival will run for three days and two nights.

The season of music festivals begins in Moscow: this weekend there will be a three-day "Park Live" at VDNH, on July 5 - "SVOY Subbotnik" in Gorky Park, and there the "Afisha Picnic" is just around the corner. In anticipation of long outdoor music weekends, we recall simple rules that will help you survive any festival. Are you going to Flow, Melt! or Exit, following this list of tips, you will definitely not faint from heat, hunger or an eating disorder, and also easily solve the age-old question “what to wear”.

1

Follow the crowd rules

The concert crowd has its own simple rules to remember. Simple logic dictates: do not climb on those who are slamming near the stage, and then complain about the pushing people. You will not be pushed only on the condition that you will stand in the distance on a hillock, and even that is not a fact. No need to sit on someone's shoulders: you can see, but not a dozen people behind you, and you will get off, hitting, as luck would have it, a pair of snow-white T-shirts of music lovers in the neighborhood. Well, the good old - think about the hair: for the time of the crowd, remove it at least on your shoulder, so that the hungry person behind you still has a bite to eat in the food court, and not the crowd, and remember this simple rule the next time you dismiss them during rush hour on the subway. Also keep an eye on your personal belongings - you should not tempt thieves with an open backpack. Bad stories happen, so it's best to be careful around a lot of different people.

2

Protect yourself from the weather

Dress for the weather, not the season, even if it's 10 degrees outside and Coachella photos keep you awake. If it’s cold, put on your favorite warm sweatshirt, if the sun is scorching, don’t forget to cover your head so as not to get a sunstroke (it’s better if it’s not a black baseball cap, then you won’t be in danger of heat). In the evening it will certainly become much cooler - keep this in mind when packing your backpack. If there is even the slightest chance of rain, grab a raincoat, and if it happens in the park, perhaps you should consider opting for rubber boots, since the Hunter remains a festival hit from year to year. Leave your umbrella at home - many festivals even ask you to hand it in at the entrance. In addition to the fact that he interferes with others, you yourself will be uncomfortable with him, buy a cool raincoat instead.

3

Protect yourself from yourself

Collect a mini first aid kit and pack it in a separate cosmetic bag. Make sure you have a cure for a headache, indigestion (maybe you'll get lucky in the food court), a couple of healing patches for corns (seriously, this is a brilliant invention), and - most importantly - a disinfectant gel and wet wipes. The gel may not save you from 100% scary microorganisms, but you don't need to. If you're really concerned about hygiene, then prepare yourself a set of mini-soap and a bottle of water: nothing cleans like washing your hands.

4

Think again about shoes

Let it be shoes according to the weather and be sure to have flat soles, although if you have never worn anything more comfortable than Jeffrey Campbell platforms, and you are sixty meters tall, this is your lucky day. Do not wear new shoes, even if they are sneakers - it would be foolish to deprive yourself of the opportunity to jump at the stage after an hour of walking in shamelessly rubbing boots. Opt for old comfortable sneakers or sneakers - these are the perfect shoes for a not too wet festival, which will protect your feet from dirt, insects, cold, but most importantly - from other feet. True, do not be surprised if this will be the last appearance of the couple in the light.

5

Turn on the control freak
and don't forget your smartphone

Subscribe to the festival on instagram, facebook, contact and download the official application of the event. Plan in advance which sets you are going to, especially if the venues are scattered around the city. Stay tuned for updates and cancellations, for sure one of the artists will miss the plane. In order not to lose friends and enjoy the elusive 3G, do not forget an extra battery.

6

Give up makeup and better
think about care

Obviously, even if it is cloudy outside, do not forget about. You can also take some light moisturizing body gel with you if your skin is prone to dryness. Festivals often take place in the parks, so be sure to use before you plunge into the musical life. The best makeup for the festival is minimal and waterproof. Although if you want to demonstrate to others the black stains of mascara from your tears and how much you were impressed by your favorite group, good for you. For everyone else, matting wipes and a light mineral base are useful, they will help get rid of excess shine during the day.

7

Don't litter

We all care about the environment, we are very careful, we eat only organic products, and we sort the garbage, but after the festivals, the parks are still filled with mountains of this garbage for some reason. Please just throw it in the trash. If you are in a country that recycles waste, pay attention to how plastic, paper, organics are sorted and follow the instructions (or spy on the locals after all).

8

Drink more water

Taking care of yourself doesn't end with the above: be sure to eat well at your local food market, for sure there will be cool eateries with good street food. If you can bring water to the festival, then be sure to take a large bottle with you, and if you can’t, then look for free ones, most likely they are handed out. This amount of activity, jumping around the stage, and especially in the heat, the body will be terribly dehydrated, so drink more. Do not be afraid of dry closets (as a result): if you have a disinfectant gel and wipes, you don’t care.

9

Know when to stop

In the spirit of the previous point - do not get drunk until you lose your pulse. Visitors to Glastonbury and Exit will not agree with us, but still dose alcohol if it is available, you will have more fun - you will see the bands for the concerts of which you paid a lot, and you can even remember their performances the next day.

10

Be smart at the merch booth and don't forget the sponsorship bounty

Merchandising bands and local markets with everything in the world is, of course, cool. But keep in mind that the prices of most products at festivals are unreasonably high, so be smart when throwing yourself at festival T-shirts, for example. It is better to choose one, but the coolest. But the free little things that sponsors distribute can be very useful: most often these are eco-bags (in addition to festival supplies, you will later go for groceries), earplugs (many people listen to concerts like this, earplugs cut off excess noise) and raincoats (why haven’t you bought your own yet? ?).

11

Do not try to do everything -
plan wisely

In the list of concerts, there must be your personal break or several if you know that you tend to get tired quickly. Accept the idea that you won't be able to see absolutely everything and it's not scary at all. Take time to eat and immediately decide which of the two simultaneously playing performers you go. Festivals give false hope that you will finally see all your favorite performers at once, but you should not go with such an attitude, otherwise the event will turn out to be a complete disappointment for you. The main thing - do not bite your elbows, if suddenly you realize that you made a mistake with the choice - feel free to step to another stage.

For the most anticipated concerts (by you personally or if you are chasing headliners), come early if you want to be at least relatively close to the stage. The rest is shameless to listen to and a little aside, sit on the grass or just don't try to get into the crush - save your energy for your favorite bands. At the end of the crowd or from the side, you can usually see much better than from its middle.

13

Leave the kids at home

Don't take the kids if you want to hear as many performances as possible. Of course, parents will figure it out even without us, just don't have any illusions about festivals. They are undoubtedly designed for children as well, but it will still be easier with the little ones to engage in local entertainment like frisbees, kites, or even exploring food stalls, rather than patiently watching several concerts in a row in one place. For children, calmly or even enjoying listening to concerts (well, or running nearby during them), earplugs will be even more useful than you.

14

Chat

At festivals, people are usually much more than usual, relaxed and disposed to non-binding chatter - the atmosphere in the end is conducive. Feel free to discuss with your neighbor the concert that has just taken place, it is very possible that in this way you will find a new friend - which is especially nice when it comes to a festival in another country.
