Who conquered Kailash. Tibetan sacred mountain Kailash (29 photos). Failed climbing Mount Kailash

The Tibetan Mount Kailash is the best of the mountains, since no mortal has yet climbed to its peak. She does not let any of the brave men who dared to climb to the top approach her.

This mountain in the form of a tetrahedral pyramid with a snow cap and faces oriented almost exactly to the cardinal points is sacred to adherents of four religions at once. Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bon followers consider it the heart of the world and the axis of the Earth.

The Tibetans are convinced that Kailash, like the polar mountain Meru from the Indo-Aryan myths, unites three cosmic zones: heaven, earth and the underworld and, therefore, has a worldwide significance. The sacred Hindu text "Kailash Samhita" says that on the top of the mountain "the formidable and merciful God lives - Shiva, who contains all the forces of the universe, gives rise to the life of earthly creatures and destroys them." Buddhists consider Kailash to be the abode of the Buddha. And therefore the sacred texts say: "None of the mortals dare to climb the mountain where the gods live, the one who sees the faces of the gods must die."

However, according to the legends, two still went to the top: Tonpa Shenrab, the founder of the Bon religion, who descended from heaven to earth here, and the great Tibetan teacher, yogi and poet Milarepa, who climbed to the top of Kailash, grasping the first morning ray of the sun.

Failed climbing Mount Kailash

However, these are legendary figures. And for mere mortals, the mountain remains unconquered, despite its not the highest height compared to the Himalayan eight-thousanders - “only” about 6700 meters (data differ in different sources). They say that in front of the daredevils who decide to make the ascent, it is as if an insurmountable air wall rises: Kailash seems to push them away, or even throw them to the foot.

There are stories about four climbers (either Americans or British) who pretended to be pilgrims making a kora - a sacred detour around the mountain. At some point, they left the ritual path and headed up. After some time, four dirty, ragged and completely insane people with crazy eyes descended to the pilgrim camp at the foot of the mountain. They were sent to a psychiatric clinic, where the climbers aged incredibly quickly and died in less than a year as a very old man, never recovering.

It is also known that in 1985 the famous climber Reinhold Messner received permission from the Chinese authorities to climb Kailash, but then he was forced to abandon this undertaking for reasons that are not entirely clear. Some say that the sharply deteriorating weather conditions interfered, others say that the guy who conquered all 14 eight-thousanders of the world had some kind of vision just before the assault on Kailash ...

But the Spanish expedition, which in 2000 acquired a permit (permit) for the conquest of this mountain from the Chinese authorities for a fairly significant amount, faced a very real obstacle. The Spaniards had already established a base camp at the foot, but then a crowd of thousands of pilgrims blocked their path, determined at all costs to prevent such sacrilege from happening. The Dalai Lama, the UN and a number of other major international organizations expressed their protest. Under such pressure, the Spaniards were forced to retreat.

But the Russians here, as always, are ahead of the rest. In September 2004, Professor Yury Zakharov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, somehow managed to lull the vigilance of the Tibetan public. Together with his son Pavel, he managed (without the permission of the authorities) to climb Kailash from the southeast side to the mark of 6200 meters. But the summit still did not submit. Here is how Zakharov himself explained it:

- On the ascent at night, Pavel woke me up, saying that in the sky there were amazing light phenomena of natural electricity with unusual beauty. I didn’t want to get out of the tent at all, and I didn’t have the strength, but my curiosity took over - indeed, every 3-5 seconds, spherical, bright flashes flashed in the sky, similar to those depicted by the Tibetans in the tigle iconography - luminous rainbow spheres. The size of a soccer ball.

Here it is appropriate to recall an even more interesting phenomenon, which is already more difficult to explain from a scientific point of view - in the daytime, you just had to close and open your eyes, looking at the sky, and you could clearly see, as it were, luminous stripes that make up a huge grid covering everything around and consisting of hundreds -swastika. This is such a mysticism, I myself would not have seen it, I would never have believed it. In general, these are the only unusual phenomena that happened to us at Kailash, except for a sharp change in the weather at the time of ascent.

The higher the expedition climbed, the worse the weather became: a snowstorm, gusts of sharp cold wind, knocking down. Finally had to retreat.

Riddles of Mount Kailash

Light flashes over the top of the mountain have been observed since ancient times. Hindus sometimes see a many-armed creature there, which they identify with Shiva.

The space images show that Kailash is located in the center of the stone spiral. The mountain is a kind of storage of planetary and cosmic energy, the largest on Earth. The pyramidal shape of the mountain also contributes to this. By the way, the Russian scientist and esoteric professor Ernst Muldashev believes that this pyramid is of artificial origin, as well as other pyramidal mountains in the region, and some kind of super-civilization built them in ancient times.

The version is curious, but hardly true. Many mountains in the Tibetan Plateau and the Himalayas have a pyramidal shape, including the highest peak on Earth - Chomolungma (Everest). And they were formed in a natural way, which can be easily proved by any specialist with knowledge in geology.

The ice dome of the top of Kailash looks like a huge crystal shining in the center of an eight-petalled flower bud formed by intricately curved smooth blue-violet rocks. Ernst Muldashev and other researchers argue that these are mirrors of time, similar to those created by the Russian scientist Nikolai Kozyrev, only, of course, much larger. For example, the “House of the Lucky Stone” mirror is 800 meters high.

The system of these mirrors changes the course of time: it most often speeds up, but sometimes it slows down. It has been noticed that pilgrims making a kora - a detour around the mountain - 53 kilometers long, have time to grow a beard and nails in a day - all life processes are so accelerated.

A lot of controversy is caused by a vertical cleft that runs along the center of the southern side of the mountain. Under certain lighting, at sunset, a bizarre play of shadows forms here a semblance of a swastika - an ancient solar sign. Esotericists consider this a sacred symbol proving the artificial origin of the mountain. But, most likely, this swastika is just one of the quirks of nature.

According to some researchers, the pyramid of Kailash is hollow. Inside it is a whole system of rooms, one of which houses the legendary black Chintamani stone. This messenger from the Orion star system keeps the vibrations of the distant worlds, working for the benefit of people, contributing to their spiritual development. And Muldashev generally believes that inside Kailas, in a state of samadhi, there are distant ancestors who have kept the gene pool of mankind since the time of the Atlanteans.

Others argue that the great initiates of all times and peoples - Jesus Christ, Buddha, Krishna and others - are in samadhi inside the Nandu sarcophagus, located very close to the mountain and connected to it by a tunnel. They will wake up during the most serious disasters and come to the aid of people.

Another mystery of Kailash is two lakes: one with “living”, the other with “dead” water. They are located near the mountain and are separated only by a narrow isthmus. In Lake Manasarovar, the water is crystal clear and tasty, has a healing effect, invigorates and clears the mind. The waters of this lake always remain calm, even with strong winds. And Langa-Tso is also called the lake of the demon. The water in it is salty, undrinkable, and it always storms here, even in calm weather.

The sacred mountain hides many miracles and mysteries. You can't cover everything in a short article. It is better to see everything with your own eyes, come to Kailash and be sure to make a kora. After all, even a one-time detour around the mountain will save you from all life's sins. Pilgrims who make 108 rounds can reach nirvana already in this life. Of course, this will take at least 2-3 years. But it's worth it, isn't it?!

If an unusual incident happened to you, you saw a strange creature or an incomprehensible phenomenon, you had an unusual dream, you saw a UFO in the sky or became a victim of alien abduction, you can send us your story and it will be published on our website ===> .

“Better mountains can only be mountains that you have not yet visited,” Vladimir Vysotsky sang. In this case, the Tibetan mountain Kailash- the best of the mountains, since no mortal has yet climbed to its top. She does not allow any of the brave men who dared to attempt the ascent to her.

Man is not allowed here!

Victor MEDNIKOV

On Earth, there are a huge number of stunningly beautiful and at the same time mysterious places that attract the attention of travelers and researchers. One of these is Mount Kailash (or, as some sources also call it, Kailash), which is located in the southern part of the Tibetan Plateau of the Trans-Himalayas (Gangdis) system and territorially belongs to China. Kailash is translated from Tibetan as "Jewel of the Snows". Kailash is the highest part of this mountain system, its height is 6638 meters above sea level, although the data may differ - a matter of a few tens of meters.

The four largest rivers of the Indian subcontinent originate from the slopes of Mount Kailash: the tributaries of the Ganges - the Brahmaputra and Karnali, the Indus and its tributary the Sutlej.

Due to the height and lack of civilization, difficulties arise in exploring the mountain - so far very little is known about Kailash, but this mountain is fraught with many mysteries, unconfirmed theories that are waiting in the wings. Many attempts to conquer the very top of the mountain have failed. So far, no one has been able to do this. The expeditions were not given permission by the Chinese authorities, the UN and the Dalai Lama, the pilgrims staged demonstrations and blocked the way.

Her appearance is a mystery in itself. The faces of Mount Kailash are located according to the four cardinal points and some scientists believe that this is an ancient pyramid, which is adjacent to smaller mountains and forms a whole system. Geologists, on the other hand, believe that wind and water gave it the shape of a pyramid over the course of millennia, and the mountain itself appeared under the ocean, as a result of movements and collisions of the earth's crust, pushing to the surface.

And the cracks on the south side of the mountain look like a swastika, which in Buddhism means the highest divine power and perfection. Perhaps such cracks could be formed as a result of an earthquake, but Tibet is a place where incredible miracles happen. It looks like someone did it on purpose for their own secret reasons. According to some assumptions - one of the ancient civilizations.

Mount Kailash is mentioned in many ancient myths, legends and religious texts of Asia, it is recognized as sacred among four religions:

  • Hindus believe that at its peak is the favorite abode of Shiva, in the Vishnu Purana it is listed as the city of the gods and the cosmic center of the universe.
  • In Buddhism, this is the place of residence of the Buddha, the heart of the world and a place of power.
  • Jains worship the mountain as the place where they gained true insight and interrupted samsara Mahavira - their first prophet and greatest saint.
  • The Bonts call the mountain a place of concentration of vitality, the center of an ancient country and the soul of their traditions. Unlike the believers of the first three religions who make a kora (cleansing pilgrimage) salting, the followers of Bon go towards the sun.

Mount Kailash has acquired many myths and legends. This is one of the most famous places of pilgrimage, because Hindus have Kailash - sacred mountain, where the god Shiva resides, and Buddhists consider it the palace of the Buddha. Many are firmly convinced that the mountain is allegedly hollow inside and the enlightened have found refuge there. To make a full detour around it, you need to walk a distance of 53 kilometers along the valley at the base. The special name for such a pilgrimage is "kora" and it came from the Tibetan monks. Having made a bark at least once in his life - he is freed from karma, all the sins that he committed during his life and can be calm for his next incarnation - he will definitely be lucky with a future incarnation. There are three monasteries around the mountain, where pilgrims are sure to come during the detour. The entire detour (necessarily clockwise) lasts about three days, during which the believing pilgrims stop for the night right under the open sky. Funeral rites are also performed in the valley, and being buried in this place is considered a blessing, since the soul is cleansed and the torments of hell do not threaten it. And the one who makes the bark 108 times will reach the highest enlightenment, like the Buddha.

As the researchers found out, the ancient pyramids are oriented not only to the North Pole, but also to Mount Kailash. It is located in the Himalayas in the territory. It is believed that the height of Mount Kailash above sea level is exactly 6666 meters. The southern slope is cut by two giant cracks, vertical and horizontal, which, as if on purpose, form an ancient Indian symbol. The top has the shape of a regular pyramid and it is also strictly oriented to the cardinal points.
But can it be that this geometry was given to Kailash not by nature, but by people? What then were their technical capabilities to cut a 6-kilometer mountain? And most importantly - why?

The ancient manuscripts say that - from Kailash, another, invisible, energy pyramid is directed into the depths of the Earth. This forms an octahedral structure. This is what professional traveler Alexander Redko says:

“I am sure that this mountain is really an octahedron. The same pyramid, which rises up, goes down, like a crystal. This octahedron is both a receiver of time energy, a capacitor, and an antenna-emitter. Through one part of the octahedron, our planet perceives the energy of time coming into the universe, and through the other it radiates it back as waste material.

Thousands of pilgrims gather here in search of enlightenment and to find their purpose in life. Scientists believe that Kailash generates special electromagnetic fields that can affect the human brain. This was commented by pyramid explorer Gregory Boss:

“There is a different intensity of the electromagnetic field, everything is different there, that is, the body enters a completely different environment. Accordingly, he needs to somehow adapt to this environment, and this environment contributes to the mood for changing himself, growth, changing consciousness.

According to climbers, Mount Kailash, although not considered a very difficult object for climbing, nevertheless, does not enjoy special "popularity" among summit conquerors. Strict religious postulates that operate in Tibet categorically prohibit climbing the sacred peak of Kailash - the habitat of the Higher Power, where no ordinary mortal has ever been (as they say). All attempts to overcome this ban always ended tragically - the participants of the ascent either died on the way from unknown causes, or went crazy, losing touch with reality and losing their memory, turning into aimlessly wandering body shells, devoid of reason. According to local residents, this is how the gods punish a proud person who intended to disturb their monastery.

Numerous attempts to climb Mount Kailash ended in "nothing" and for reasons much less mysterious. So in 1985, the famous climber Reinhold Messner, who for a long time sought permission from the PRC authorities to climb Kailash, at the last stage, without explaining the reasons, abandoned this undertaking. Later, conflicting reports appeared in the press that the famous climber, according to one version, faced threats from some religious figures, according to another, he began to experience inexplicable ailments and various difficulties in the process of preparing for the ascent. The exact reason for the climber's refusal remains a mystery.

Another, more obvious example. An expeditionary group of climbers from Spain, which received permission from the Chinese authorities to conquer Kailash in 2000, was also forced to abandon the ascent. Thousands of angry pilgrims did not allow the Spanish expedition to set foot beyond their base camp, which is laid out at the foot of the mountain. A big international scandal erupted, because in addition to this fact, millions of other believers in all countries of the world, many international organizations, including UN representatives and even the Dalai Lama himself protested against the conquest of Kailash.

One of the secrets and wonders of Kailash is the so-called “mirrors of time”. This topic has been discussed by scientists and just curious people all over the world for many years. The mirrors of time are called the surfaces of rocks located opposite each other. These rocks have a smooth or concave surface, and the passage of time can slow down at their focal point.

It is impossible to say whether the “mirrors” are the creation of nature or ancient masters. But, the fact remains: a person who has fallen into the focus of the “mirror” begins to experience various abnormal and psychophysical sensations. For example, the facts of premature aging are known.

Some researchers (for example, Muldashev) believe that the “mirrors” are located near Kailash in a certain order in relation to each other, creating a kind of “time machine” that is able to transfer the initiate not only to different time epochs, but also to other worlds. For example, in 1944, the Nazi expedition disappeared without a trace on Kailash, and in 1951 its radio signal was suddenly recorded in Mexico.

An incomprehensible thing happened to the American expedition in the late 90s of the last century. All members of which in just a couple of years turned into decrepit old men and died from an unknown disease ...

It is believed that once every 60 years Mount Kailash wakes up. Alexander Redko specially organized the expedition at that moment. The explorers went to one of the seven secret valleys. It leads to a crack that cuts the southern slope of Kailash in half.

Tibetan lamas have warned the Russians: you will pay with part of your life for entering a sacred place. The travelers placed control chronometers and GPS navigators around the perimeter and set off. Alexander Redko told about what happened next:

“We were near this crack in the chronal node for about 24–26 hours, and when we returned, we had signs that the biological time in the body had passed very quickly and we lived for about two weeks during this time. Because we had two-week beards and two-week nails.”

A day has passed on the researchers' clocks and on the control clocks. And they themselves had a feeling of immense fatigue. Here is how Alexander Redko described this feeling:

“That is, physical time has remained the same, there are no changes on the clock, but biological time, that is, the time for the flow of life processes in the body, has increased several tens of times ...”

There, in the Himalayan mountains, on the border of India and China, is the mysterious White Pyramid, which, perhaps, is even higher than Kailash. It was first described by US Air Force pilot James Kausman. Performing one of the flights, he flew over the Valley of Death. One of the engines almost died out, the fuel began to freeze, and the pilot was forced to descend. Suddenly, right below the crew saw a giant pyramid of white shiny material. At its top was a huge crystal. The plane could not land near the structure, only flew around three times ... For 50 years, no official data about this pyramid has appeared. Only a couple of notes and photographs from military satellites got into the press. Archaeologist Hartwig Hausdorff testifies:

“I have clippings from American newspapers of the 40s in my archive. They speak of a white pyramid 1,000 feet high, that is, in terms of about 300 meters.

The White Pyramid is located at the same latitude as the Cheops pyramid, but 72 degrees east. And it's impossible to get close to her. The Chinese authorities strictly protect the White Pyramid from foreign visitors.
Hartwig Hausdorff sought permission to explore the pyramids for many years. And only recently he succeeded. He became the first foreign scientist to gain access to the area of the White Pyramid. Hartwig Hausdorff described his impressions:

“I was given permission to visit this restricted area west of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province. I became the first foreigner in the world who was allowed to inspect, photograph them, that is, document them. It turns out that there are more than 100 pyramids of various sizes. That same white pyramid is located 65 km southwest of this region. Most of these pyramids are built on flat terrain, and the white pyramid is in the mountains. This was also claimed by American military pilots. True, they didn’t let me get very close to her. ”

But why is the White Pyramid shrouded in a veil of such strict secrecy? A hundred other pyramids under the city of Xi'an attract millions of tourists and are open to the public all year round. Is it related to its technical capabilities? Or is everything much more prosaic? Here is what Hartwig Hausdorff told me:

“I was able to find out that there is supposedly a launch pad for launching new Chinese space rockets, which is why the zone was declared forbidden.”

I. Prokopenko. "Interesting Newspaper"

Mount Kailash (Kangrinboche) is covered with many myths, and all due to the fact that a human foot has not set foot on it yet, the peak remains unconquered even in the 21st century. Mount Kailash has great religious significance in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, the Tibetan Bon tradition.
So, for a long time, an article written by the author, “Marisa263” hung on the site, in the comments you can see the indignation of visitors pointing to many inaccuracies and frankly fictional facts. I decided that just rewriting the article is not very interesting, it is better to go through each point and refute or confirm them. Under each item, I added the facts I found and my thoughts on the subject.

1 Mount Kailash and its height

Statement #1. "Mount Kailash is one of the mysterious places in the world, the height of which is 6666 meters."
Wikipedia gives a different figure of 6638 meters with a link to us Peakbagger.com. It is also said that scientists disagree between 6638 and 6890 meters, depending on the method of measurement.

2 On the opposite side of the Earth - the skeleton of Easter

Statement #2. On the opposite side of the Earth from Mount Kailash is the skeleton of Easter, which is famous for its stone idols.
Probably everyone remembers from the geometry course that two points on a sphere can be connected by a segment, this segment is called a chord. So the chord connecting Easter Island and Mount Kailash really passes close to the center of the Earth,
it is difficult to say exactly whether it is through the center, but it can be argued that the skeleton of Easter is on the opposite side of the Earth.

3 People age faster near Kailash

Statement #3. that Near Kailash people age faster (12 hours in about 2 weeks), this is evidenced by the growth of hair and nails.
In fact, it is a fact known to science that the growth of nails and hair slows down in the cold, which probably explains the observation.

4 Mount Kailash remains unconquered

Statement #4. She has not yet allowed a single climber to reach her summit, those who tried were “thrown off” by the mountain. The religious texts of Buddhism and Hinduism say the following about Kailash: "None of the mortals dare to climb the mountain where the gods live, the one who sees the faces of the gods must die."
In fact, in 2000, the Spanish expedition received permission to conquer Kailash from the Chinese authorities. The team set up a base camp at the foot of the mountain, but they never managed to set foot on the mountain. Thousands of pilgrims blocked the path of the expedition. The Dalai Lama, the UN, a number of major international organizations, millions of believers around the world protested the conquest of Kailash, and the Spaniards had to retreat

5 You can't swim in Rakshas Tal Lake

Statement #5. Near the mountain there are two lakes: Manasarovar (living and pure water) and Rakshas Tal (in Tibetan, Lhanag Tso, “Demon Lake”). In Lake Manasarovar (fresh), which is located at an altitude of 4560 m above sea level, you can swim, drink water, it is considered sacred, and also at any time of the year, in any weather, it is calm.
Rakshas (), 4515m above sea level. It is considered a lake of dead water, which you can not only drink, but also touch it, as well as at any time of the year and in any weather there is a storm on this lake.
Perhaps, according to the beliefs of the local population, this is how it is, but the network has photos of tourists not only touching, but also swimming in the Rakshas Tal lake.

6 Kailash and the image of the swastika

Statement #6. Mount Kailash is broken by two huge ridges - cracks, which, especially in the evening, with the help of the shadow from the ledges of the rock, form a huge image of the swastika.
I added a photo in the evening hours, I added a photo where there is less snow, which can be said, the slope is dotted with cracks, the cross is visible, well, there is no swastika, but if you wish, you can probably find a swastika in abundance of cracks.

7 Kailash is a pyramid

Statement #7. The fact that Mount Kailash is a pyramid (which, like the rest of the pyramids, is clearly oriented to the cardinal points) is no longer an innovation. All scientists who have visited near Kailash do not doubt its pyramidality.
I am attaching a screenshot from google maps, with a compass needle and plotted axes, everything is obvious here. Like the Pyramid of the Sun in Bosnia, the mountain is a natural geological formation known as a flatiron.

8 Mount Kailash is an artificial formation

Statement #8. Many scientists consider this mountain to be an artificial formation, with some voids inside (at the level of the middle and at the foot), which was built by someone, for something and with a specific purpose.
It is difficult to prove as difficult as it is to refute without special research, so I will express my opinion - this is a mountain, a natural formation.

9 From Mount Kailash to the Stonehenge monument (England) - 6666 km.

Statement #9. From Mount Kailash to the Stonehenge monument (England) - 6666 km. To the North Pole - 6666 km. From the mountain to the South Pole twice 6666 km.
