2. Rights of a legal entity:

4. Consent to the use of images:

The legal entity gives its consent and warrants to the Center that it has received the consent of its employees to use their images obtained during photo and video filming organized by the Center by all legal means, including, but not limited to, publication, reproduction, distribution of a fine work (painting, photograph, film and others), replication, import and export outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in other ways permitted by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The legal entity undertakes to independently respond to all claims of its employees in connection with the above-mentioned use of their images Center.

United Nations Volunteers (UNV), supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Russian Federation, announces the recruitment of Russians to participate in UN projects and programs around the world. Applications will be accepted until July 25, 2018.

The UNV program has been contributing to peace and sustainable development through volunteerism since 1970. The organization's key role is to recruit, deploy and manage skilled volunteers who provide support to UN agencies in implementing peace and development initiatives. In 2017, more than 6,500 people representing 100 different professional fields worked in 131 countries as UN Volunteers.

This year, UNV is offering 19 Russian citizens the opportunity to gain unique international experience and help the UN address sustainable development issues in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and 16 CIS countries. Depending on experience and age, UNV will place candidates in countries under two types of contracts Youth UN Volunteers and UN Volunteers - specialists:

  • UN Youth Volunteers are young people aged 18 to 29 who typically have less than two years of professional experience;
  • UN Specialist Volunteers are professionals who are looking for opportunities to put their skills and experience to good use. Volunteers must be 25 years of age or older, with a minimum of two years' work experience.

UNV will provide Russians with the opportunity to acquire invaluable skills and opportunities for personal and career growth. You can help people with your knowledge, skills and time by becoming a UN Volunteer. This is an opportunity to contribute to peace and development.

The UN offers 3 types of volunteer activities:

  1. Volunteering abroad
  2. Volunteering in the candidate's home country
  3. Online volunteering.

Volunteering abroad

Volunteers work abroad from 6 to 12 months (sometimes the period can be extended from 1 to 2 years). Sometimes volunteers are required for a short period (up to 3 months).

Organizers provide volunteers with:

  • finances to pay basic expenses;
  • payment for travel to the place of work;
  • financial assistance, which is paid upon arrival at the workplace;
  • insurance;
  • annual leave;
  • financial assistance, which is paid at the end of the work.

Requirements:

  • the candidate must be over 25 years of age;
  • completed higher education;
  • work experience of at least 2 years;
  • excellent knowledge of at least one UN working language (English, Spanish, French);

Volunteering in the candidate's home country

Do you want to make your contribution to the development of your native country? You can do this by becoming one of the UN Volunteers, you will work together with other volunteers from different countries.

The service life of volunteers is different (from 2 weeks to 4 years).

Organizers provide:

  • finances to pay for basic expenses (medical examination, vaccination);
  • travel expenses to the place of work;
  • finances to pay for the basic living expenses of the volunteer and his family;
  • financial reward upon completion of work;
  • provision of living conditions if the volunteer will work in unacceptable conditions;

Requirements:

Each volunteer job is unique and has its own requirements. Minimum requirements for volunteers:

  • a citizen of the country or a candidate who legally resides in the country can become a volunteer;
  • the candidate must be over 22 years old (there are also vacancies for candidates over 18 years old);
  • a bachelor's or master's degree, in some cases it is enough to have a completed secondary education;
  • at least 2 years of work experience;
  • candidates must know (be able to communicate and write) their native language(s) and know one of the working languages ​​of the UN;
  • have a desire to be a volunteer;
  • ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  • desire to work with people and local organizations;
  • ability to live in difficult conditions;
  • organizational and interpersonal skills.

After submitting your application, you should receive a written response within 4-8 weeks. If your candidacy is successful, your information will be kept for two years, unless you inform the UN Volunteers of your refusal. Being included in the database is not yet a guarantee that you will be appointed to work as a UN Volunteer. If within two years you have not received a job assignment, then your candidacy can be stored in the database (at your request), but for this you will need to send the appropriate confirmation, supplemented by any new documents, diplomas or certificates.
