It should be remembered that health depends on many factors that are combined into one integral concept - a healthy lifestyle. Its purpose is to teach a person to reasonably treat his health, physical and mental culture, temper his body, skillfully organize work and rest.

Others already in minor extreme situations lose their restraint and faith in themselves. What does it depend on?

First, individual sensitivity to extreme situations is determined by the type of higher nervous activity. Four types of temperaments: choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic, melancholic. Choleric - characterized by the speed of action, strong feelings and passions that quickly arise. This is clearly expressed in language, gestures, facial expressions. Choleric always considers himself right, it is hard to admit his mistakes.

Sanguine - characterized by agility, quick excitability and a slight change in emotions. The sanguine is comradely, but is not permanent, it cannot be assigned to him in a difficult moment.

Phlegmatic - characterized by moderation, not in a hurry to solve problems, reliable, not irritable, does not complain, but is indifferent to others.

Melancholic - characterized by a tendency to depression, depression. Indulges in despair in emergency extreme situations, becomes unable to overcome difficulties. Belonging to one or another type depends on the ability to control oneself, one's will, feelings and passions in extreme conditions.

To harden the mental state, a person needs to use physical labor, sports, walks in the fresh air and other natural factors.

It can be used to renew strength before a working day, during breaks, and also after a working day.

To relieve feelings of anxiety, fear, there are certain tests, formulas. For a faster resumption of strength after fatigue, it is recommended to use inspired sleep, that is, learn to put yourself into sleep for a certain time and wake up alert on your own. The duration of the inspired sleep is 30 - 40 minutes.

Psychohygiene - includes the art of relationships between people, the harmony of man and nature, comfortable living conditions, different types recreation.

It was a long time ago, in the 80s of the last century. My little daughter is seriously ill. And at that time I worked in the radiochemical laboratory of the Leningrad Institute of Radiation Hygiene (LenNIIRG) (I graduated from Leningrad State University, Faculty of Chemistry). Sergei Vasilyevich Shestopalov, also a graduate of Leningrad State University, worked in a friendly laboratory for control and forecasting, having even graduated from two faculties: mathematical-mechanical and biological. He was fond of astrology and in his free time seriously studied everything connected with it, which was not welcomed from above and not accepted by everyone from below - in any case, at the institute, besides me, there were only a few people who were interested in his astrological research.

However, times have gradually changed and public consciousness. Of course, this may not be enough, but it is the right way. Think about whether you eat right, work, what is your daily routine. Often people get tired not because they work too hard, but because they work incorrectly or do something other than what their soul lies in (they cheat on themselves). tamas- dead food, poor in information;

satva- living, clean, biologically rich food that can give rise to life (for example, grain can be eaten, or it can be germinated);

Depending on the circumstances of the external environment, tamas can turn out to be satva and vice versa. Sergei Vasilyevich Shestopalov, also a graduate of Leningrad State University, worked in a friendly laboratory for control and forecasting, having even graduated from two faculties: mathematical-mechanical and biological. He was fond of astrology and in his free time seriously studied everything connected with it, which was not welcomed from above and not accepted by everyone from below - in any case, at the institute, besides me, there were only a few people who were interested in his astrological research.

However, both times and public consciousness gradually changed. In the early 1980s, Sergei Shestopalov went to work at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, in the laboratory of the legendary psychic Vadim Borisovich Polyakov, who studied extrasensory perception. Once Sergei came to “visit” LenNIIRG and began to tell me how well he was doing: finally, he had an interesting and beloved job, and the family was in perfect order. "And how are you?" - he asked. Well, I told him that my daughter was sick, that the medical prognosis was not the best, and asked him to find a strong psychic (since the laboratory where he works, psychics are studied) who could help cure my daughter. And Sergey immediately recommended Boris Goldovsky, warning: "If it doesn't work out with him, call - we will pick up someone else." But everything worked out with Boris Iosifovich: for several months I periodically brought my daughter to him for treatment - and the disease receded, the girl went to school already healthy. However, this meeting had a sequel. And it happened like this. During the period of perestroika, I left the institute and took up editing books on health topics, and then became a journalist in this area. It was then that I turned again to B. I. Goldovsky, this time as a journalist, with a request to give an interview on the topic of health promotion for the magazine "People's Doctor".

The editor of the magazine liked the material very much - and then it started: a number of interviews and psychological trainings with Boris Goldovsky were published in the "People's Doctor", several interviews - in the newspaper "Lechebnik", a number of articles - in the then published newspaper "Healer Plus". On the basis of all these materials, this book appeared - as a result of my numerous conversations with B. I. It depends wholly, wholly, exclusively. It is by mental activity that we differ from all other forms of life. How to find the path to health? What advice can you give readers?

No one doubts the existence of a guardian angel, but why are there so many ridiculous diseases and deaths on Earth? This is due to the fact that a person stops listening and hearing his guardian angel. I advise each of you to find time for deep reflection in a calm atmosphere on a clearly posed issue that is important to you. For example, you are in poor health. Focus on your problem, turn off the TV, radio, sit comfortably, relax. Don't be disturbed by sounds, you can put earplugs on your ears. (Earplugs are easy to make: sew two 10 cm x 10 cm earplugs, stuff them with foam rubber, cotton, or wool, then secure them with wire or a rubber band.) Think about why you got this condition? Maybe an interesting method of healing will come to your mind, or you will realize that you have violated some psychological rules, offended someone. Perhaps you should ask for forgiveness.

Of course, this may not be enough, but it is the right way. Think about whether you eat right, work, what is your daily routine. Often people get tired not because they work too hard, but because they work incorrectly or do something other than what their soul lies in (they cheat on themselves). Often people do work at the wrong time (they don’t take into account their biorhythms), it happens that they are in the grip of wrong psychological attitudes, saying to themselves: “We must do this at all costs,” without thinking about it, but really whether it is necessary.

A subconscious understanding of the uselessness of one's work leads to illness, because the most terrible conflict is a conflict with oneself.

Think and try to formulate for yourself the ideal result that you are striving for (often people do not know how to do this). Then look at what hinders the realization of this result, develop a strategy for further actions: you can try to remove interfering factors, you can turn harm into favor, or you can “lay straws” in advance.

Please tell us about the food culture. Now there are many theories of proper nutrition: some people are raw foodists, others are vegetarians, and others adhere to a separate nutrition system.

Food culture is the most ancient culture of mankind. And as for the various methods of nutrition, at a certain point, one or another method of nutritional treatment is important, appropriate. Truth is always exceptionally concrete. For example, separate nutrition at a certain stage can give good results, but to say that this is a panacea would be charlatanism.

For example, I was a vegetarian for seven years, thanks to which I achieved some success in psychological practice, and then moved away from vegetarianism. Now I eat in such a way that it takes as little time as possible. In general, nutrition, like everything else, must be treated wisely and without fanaticism.
